Our Services

ATE offers training and consultancy for enterprise architecture and all architecture domains. Our training can be delivered face-to-face, virtual webinar and e-learning to meet your requirements, timescale and budget. We deliver public training globally and can also arrange private training for groups at your premises or a location of your choice.

We have been a major contributor to the TOGAF standard since 1999. As a result we understand TOGAF® inside and out and are able to communicate this to our clients. With our in-depth knowledge of Enterprise Architecture we are able to assess EA maturity across a range of metrics and can identify areas for improvement to achieve TOGAF® Maturity level 3 and above.

Judith Jones

CEO of ATE Enterprises Ltd

Judith Jones, the CEO of ATE Enterprises Ltd was the first ever TOGAF® standard certified person and trainer. Judith is an experienced Business Manager and IT Consultant. Judith’s prime experience includes business re-engineering, Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture and governance, architecture practice management, business value engineering, IT strategy and management. Judith has worked with many Fortune 1000 and Government agencies to develop architecture competencies and capabilities. Her background experience includes more than 20 years as a business manager with ICL, now Fujitsu Services. Judith was elected chair of the certification committee at The Open Group in January 2019. Judith was also the first person to be certified in TOGAF® and has been a major contributor to TOGAF® since 1999.

Judith is a champion and practitioner of Enterprise Architecture standards, including TOGAF® and TOGAF® certification, for over 20 years and was instrumental in the development of ICL’s OpenFramework. Judith is an active member of The Open Group and is a major contributor and an editor of TOGAF® 7, 8 and 9 (including version 9.2) as well as leading TOGAF® projects for localisation, case studies, ADML, synergy and collaboration. Judith is co-author of the TOGAF® and DODAF alignment paper. Judith is currently Chair of the Certification Committee at The Open Group.

G Edward Roberts

Enterprise Architect

Ed worked for the US Navy for 23 years in architecture and design before going into private industry to further develop his career in the commercial world of Enterprise Architecture. Ed has unique experience putting Enterprise Architecture in place in large non-profit organizations, SME commercial organizations using Enterprise Architecture to stabilize their businesses. Ed has extensive skills in modelling of Enterprise and IT Architecture, Systems and Software in various modelling languages.

Ed has also worked extensively in technical training development providing courses in TOGAF®, Archimate, C++, Java, Web development, UML and ontology development putting his experiences into knowledge development.Ed represented the US DoD in The Open Group and is the co-author of The TOGAF® ADM/MDA Synergy Project. Ed is a TOGAF 9 and Archimate 2 certified Enterprise Architect with practical experience in the application of Enterprise Architecture in a variety of organisational contexts. Mo. Ed has worked for ATE Enterprises since 2013 and provides TOGAF® and Archimate Training as well as modelling consultancy assignments.

Graham Berrisford

Enterprise Architect

Graham has worked for over 25 years in the IT industry, in a variety of roles – programming, analysis architecture, management and consulting. He has a broad knowledge of architecture methodology – from software architecture through solution architecture to enterprise architecture – and a long experience of training. He was a leader in showing how to build entity-event models and implement them using a 3-layer software architecture, and published a book on this in 1994. He then worked for a CASE tool company as a consultant in methodologies for building software applications. More recently, over a period of eight years, he led the development of methods, standards and training for the architects of a major systems integrator. Graham began working for ATE Enterprises in 2007.

Since 2006, Graham has been heavily involved in Enterprise and solution architecture as a consultant and a tutor, his pupils believe he is “very knowledgeable and professional” and “he is inspirational”.

Aleksander Wyka

Enterprise Architect, Trainer and Consultant

In his current role as enterprise architect, trainer and consultant Aleksander is capitalizing on his cross industry experience from mission critical projects, business process reengineering and change management initiatives.Recently he has been advising on new business concept development, providing requirements management, architecture design and project management services. This included a SOA Initiation and SOA Governance for one of the banks, architecting a new start-up portal for the Real Estate Industry and Medical Services, developing a service model for the provision of cloud services as well as providing advice to Health Insurance organizations. Aleksander began working for ATE Enterprises in 2012 and has delivered courses in many countries worldwide.

For the last 15 years he has been working at senior management level in banking, healthcare, telecommunications and services. Prior to that he was running various projects and participating in systems development as systems analyst, designer, developer and database administrator. He is creative but likes to work with models and numbers to support decision making processes and new concept development. He is also fluent in Polish, English and French.

Heather Wilcox

Enterprise Architect Practitioner

Heather Wilcox is a TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner, consultant and accredited TOGAF trainer.
She is also an accredited Requirements and Configuration Management trainer and practitioner.
Heather has had an active involvement in Business Transformation, Strategy and practical implementation of root cause analysis across the enterprise.This has given her an in-depth understanding of IT and Business alignment which underpins her training capabilities, resulting in a comprehensive, flexible and practical approach. For organisations undergoing change, Heather offers mentoring and support through the transformation process. Heather has extensive experience of lecturing and training in Business and IT, practised in colleges, universities, local government and large organisations.
